Company History
1962 The company was founded with two products: Fuchslocher Shut-off Nozzle for injection molding machines and Rohlf Controllers as the first electronic temperature controller.
Aside from these founding products, PSG distributed innovative products from the United States for plastics processing that were, at that time, not available on the European market yet:
- Water re-cooling machines and granulate feeders
- Electronic wall thickness programming for blow molding machines
- Hotrunner nozzles
- High performance heating cartridges from Watlow
As a result a wide spectrum of know how in plastics processing was developed. Based on the founding products further developments concentrated on core areas and the following milestones were achieved:

1972 Triac for quasi-constant power allocation of heating elements „Ramp function“ with Triac for low-stress heating-up
1973 Plug-ready hot runner controllers
1979 Digipact: The first digital controller with self-optimization (table adaptation, interface, manual mode, temperature dependant start-up mode)
1984 Digipact II: with heating current display and monitoring Multipact®: first multi-loop controller for 4 and 8 loops
1990 Tempering unit with µP-controller
1993 Multi-loop controller with full-adaptation

2002 Webremote: worldwide communication with PSG temperature controllers over the Internet
2007 flexotemp®: Modular-structure temperature control system with CoDeSys-SoftSPS
