Easy Maintenance

Mass-oriented power allocation to the heating elements and an optimized heat transfer from the heating element to the hot runner (copper bedding) reduces power consumption to a minimum. This saves on operating cost and ensures a low-stress processing of plastics without damaging the material.

Simple and inexpensive Manufacturing of the requested Mold Sizes

The surface of the nozzle flange on the tool is not engraved (exception Prima). It reduces cost and sources for error when making the mold.

The injection mold for the bottle opener was developed by FKT Formenbau und Kunststofftechnik GmbH Triptis, Germany as a marketing tool to demonstrate their manufacturing technologies.

Multi-component injection molding is achieved through the use of back injection molding along with metal insert molding. The PSG hot runner is a Premium system, which utilizes a nozzle from PSG’s Allround series. The Premium systems are designed for critical materials like PC and TPE, which are used in this product.
