Positioning with one sleight exactly at the point!

The new compact operating unit (50x50x70 mm) is interesting regarding technology and price. The new product requires a very small installation space. This saves space due to lower height of the mold, smaller distances of the nozzles, less loss of heat and it raises the stiffness of the mold. The adjustment of the needle can be done by a nonius, which is easily reached from behind. The needle position can be exactly adjusted to 0.01 mm, read and recorded without convertion. This leads to nearly not visible injection points and a better reproducibility of the vestige quality.

More output for less money

Despite the comfortable needle adjustment by nonius the new system is cheaper then the forerunner. One reason amongst others is the small width of the manifold. The heater power and the number of tabular heaters is reduced.

Compared to other systems the new operating unit from PSG offers the following advantages: The pin adjustment is possible without contact to the piston area (oil) and therefore absolutely clean. The setting of the pin is made from behind and therefore easily accessible and/or easy to maintain. The pin can easily be disconnected and the pin can stay in the system while disassembling the unit. This reduces your setting- and assembling times.

Two variants are available

1. Flanged on the manifold including cooling.  Available hydraulically (MH) as well as pneumatically (MP).
2. Installed in the clamping plate, also hydraulically (CH) and pneumatically (CP).

Without post-production cooling times

Setup times are reduced  for the flanged operating units as the thermal decoupling has been implemented very well.

Space saving

Different component sizes are available. The new operating units can be used from the smallest nozzle series Mikro to the largest Big Shot. Moreover, the new developments only require very small installation space. This lowers the mold installation height.
