Product description

  • One CI communication module is required for each THYPO system.
    It is the communication node to higher-level control and visualisation systems connected via Profinet-IO, CANopen, and Modbus TCP/IP. Additional interfaces (Ethernet TCP/IP, Powerlink, Varan) are in preparation.
  • System bus CAN
  • The project planning of the system is carried out via the web interface of the CI. Both the project planning and the configuration of the complete system are saved in the CI. Backing up or restoring from an external storage device is possible.
  • Supply of the power supply voltage for directly connected power controller modules
  • Up to 8 power controller modules can be connected to the CI. For systems with a higher number of power controller modules, the EI infeed modules must be used.
  • Maximum system configuration: 63 power controller modules (corresponds to up to 1512 independent power outputs)
  • Three digital inputs and outputs each, with configurable functions
  • Simple device diagnosis with colour switching LEDs for signalling status messages
  • Fixing to a downstream TP power controller module
